Continue southbound on Harrison, turn right on Everett Avenue for 1.5 blocks.

3410 Everett Ave – Brue Building (1892): Architect Frederick Sexton. The Brue Building is probably the oldest commercial building in Riverside. The Romanesque building originally cost about $5,000. It’s the oldest tavern location in Riverside, and has been a machine shop in recent years. Construction of the brick veneer building began in December 1891, with space for two stores at street level and 17 offices upstairs. When it first opened in March 1892, the school district rented it until the Monroe School was completed.
