Picnic Area

The picnic area has a long and evolving history as a place for visitors to relax and meet with friends and family. But the area has also been used over the years for arts, music and other cultural events. Note the large copper beech tree here that possibly dates to the WPA era.
Head west and south and look for the Animal Farm sign.
